We've been at this restaurant in the past, and since it recently reopened under new owners, we decided to give it a try.It was a pleasant surprise! The whole place has been tastefully redecorated. The old skylight now bathes the dining room with natural light, giving the room an exquisite warmth. We sat at the bar that surrounds the open kitchen, a welcoming concept that allows you to visually witness the freshness of ingredients while watching the craft of the friendly chefs. It was fun to chat with them, hear their recommendations, and try out some of their experimental sauces. After sharing a well-balanced cheese, honey and liver pâté appetizer, we decided on El lechón, which was roasted to perfection, crispy on the outside but juicy and delicious inside,Affordable and generous portions. They also have an attractive selection of local wines and microbrews. We settled on a bottle of the house white, a crisp and lively choice. We will be back!PS: The tiramisu had a light and creamy mascarpone that amazingly enough was NOT too sweet!

Cash only BUT so worthy. We're vegetarians, we had the provolone, polenta and dish with Sweet potatoes, delicious! Probably the best meal we had in Montevideo. The cocktails were yummy and the service was outstanding!! Super friendly. It was warm and I was fanning myself with the menu. The waiter came up to me and said I saw you were fanning yourself, here is a fan - that's what I call service.Ambiance was great.

Excellent food. The service was impeccable. The staff exuded an innate sense of friendliness. I had the fideuá with lamb - SO DELICIOUS!! I could have eaten 2 or 3 of those, if i could fit that much food in my stomach. I had a bottle of the Uruguayan Malbec as well, which was quite tasty. The ambience was super chill and they had an awesome music selection. This spot is definitely a must visit if you're in Montevideo.

A very cozy family type of restaurant catering for all sorts of crowds. Since they don't do reservations, went in early with my boyfriend to get a cute table for two. Warm and friendly staff, a menu where anyone can find something to eat. We had provolone cheese, and it was probably the best I've ever had. Excellent seasoning and it was just to die for. We also had some croquetas, with a nice little fresh sauce. Main dish was leeks with more cheese. Food came out fast, and it was tasty, and service was to the point. Not too pricey, and I will definitely go back to try all the vegetarian options! Handmade bread was soft and crunchy, recommended by our waitress. Definitely worth a visit!

Eugenia is the best! She is a server here and is fantastic. The food is absolutely amazing and you need to go here if you are around. Don’t hesitate! We went here 3x in a 3 week period.
